Super Soups That Boost Immunity

There’s nothing like a yummy bowl of warm soup on nippy or relaxing kind of day. What’s even better, is a taste tantalizing soup that doubles as an immune system booster. A great supplemental remedy to those yucky seasonal bugs. A healing soup can be the first step in maintaining your health and preventing illness. Studies have proven that simmering healthy foods over low heat helps to gently leach out the therapeutic and energetic properties of the foods as well as preserving the nutritional value of it and making it easier for your body to absorb valuable nutrients.

Historically, many cultures valued and utilized soup more than medicine. These days it’s used as a preventative measure and as a useful means of alleviating cold and flu related symptoms. You don’t have to journey far to boost your immunity. Here are  super soups that will help keep colds and flu at bay and halt hunger pains too. You can also store and freeze soup for a rainy day. Trust me, they can come in handy.
