Ready, set, go! – To the most delicious 5K race around! Cooking Light & Health’s The Fit Foodie 5K Race is the ultimate celebration of food, fitness and fun. Put those running shoes to work as you navigate your way around an awesome5K course. On the morning of the race, we will get you pumped up with a group stretch and dance party to loosen up those muscles in preparation for the Race!

The Fit Foodie 5K Weekend is jam-packed with celebrity chef tastings, cooking and fitness demonstrations, yoga sessions, and a Power Systems fitness bootcamp, all led by celebrity trainers and fitness experts. Also expect to rub elbows with editors and contributors from Cooking Light and Health magazines who will be on hand to share tips and tricks for maintaining a healthy lifestyle, as well as celebrity fitness expert Patrick Goudeau.

Light Up the Night VIP Cocktail $45
Kick off your Fit Foodie weekend in style at the Light Up The Night VIP Cocktail Party. Mix and mingle with celeb chefs, Editors from Cooking Light & Health, and your fellow Fit Foodies, who will be there to help you get energized for the big day and have a little Friday night fun. During the dinner you’ll learn expert tips and tricks for having a great run and enter to win amazing giveaways!

Cheering on a friend or family member at the Fit Foodie 5K? You can still take part in all the Finisher’s Village has to offer with the Love TX Chefs Experience. The Love TX Chefs Experience is for the ultimate foodie inside all of us and will feature culinary stars from Austin, TX who will create an incredible foodie experience, and also grants access to beer, wine and product samples within the Finisher’s Village.

Sunrise Yoga $35

Refresh and revitalize with Sunrise Yoga. Awaken your mind and body during a sunrise yoga session, led by Tom Leverett of Del Sol Yoga, where anyone from beginner to intermediate levels can take part in the balancing and strengthening benefits that yoga has to offer.

Power Systems Obstacle Course $35 each

Want a stronger, leaner body? Join us for one incredible workout presented by Power Systems and celebrity trainer, Patrick Goudeau. The Obstacle Course Bootcamp is one BIG playground that combines strength and cardio intervals in a learn-to-use-what-you’ve-got body weight workout! Loaded with functional exercises designed for the ultimate challenge; these drills and stations will push you to believe in yourself and others. Run, jump, squat, push…. let’s GO!
