Healthy Pumpkin Recipes

Everyone knows that the holidays are the hardest time to stay on track when it comes to eating clean. We are so busy. There are shopping days, holiday parties, gatherings, family traditions like pie and cookie baking, not to mention all the treats that are being left around the office from coworkers- goodies everywhere. Why not try our hardest to stay focused on ways to continue our healthy lifestyle and to get in our workouts? Even during this time, we may not be losing the most inches or pounds but if we focus on exercising just as much as the food, we can at least keep “playing for the tie” and not going into overtime in extra innings.
Lets be honest…We all know that we’re not going to be perfect through the holidays especially when it comes to eating clean. I suggest selecting an exercise routine that takes you very little time to complete. Something like Focus T25 or 10 minute Trainer. On December 10th P90X 3 will be released. These workouts are all less than 30 minutes long. Take a peek at www.laurenmajewski.com to check out great deals on these packages.
My other suggestion is to try to find clean versions of your favorite holiday treats and traditional menu items. Drinking a full meal replacement shake when you are on the go is also another great idea. Don’t just stop into the local drive thru because it is convenient and sabotage all your hard work.
Pumpkin recipes seem to be the favorite this time of year so I have a few clean pumpkin recipes for you to try and share. Enjoy!
