OUR FITNESS SURVEY RESULTS: FIND OUT WHAT OUR READERS ENJOY MOST ABOUT FITNESS    

Our fitness poll results are complete! We set out in search of what people least liked to loved about exercising. Thanks to our readers input we were able to compile some informative data. It provided us with a first hand glimpse into what makes for an ideal workout in your fitness world. We appreciated our reading audience’s participation.  Take a look at what the polls revealed about some of favored fitness trends.

“What’s you’re favorite brand of fitness apparel?”
Nike took it home. They were the favored of our brand options. Reebok was the second favored. Under Armour and Adidas  were tied in third place.

“Where do you prefer to workout?”
Majority of our readers prefer to workout in the gym. Exercising outside was second place and home was last. This sparked our interest and prompted our current fitness survey question. Click here to view

“What time do you prefer to workout?”
Most of our readers prefer to workout in the morning. Second place was  exercising in the evening and varying times. Noon was last in preference.

“Which one do you prefer?”
Majority of our readers enjoy walking and running interchangeably. Walking was second preference and running was last.

Free weights and weight machines were close in percentage. Free weights lead by approximately 15 percent. It seems our readers like strength training.

Most of our readers workout 3 times a week or more which is the average recommended frequency. Good for you!

Most of our readers enjoy working out alone. Working out with friends and alone ranked in 2nd place and last preference was solely with friends.

It’s nice to know that most of our readers “love” or “like” working out. Zero percent reported “tolerating” it, but that would have been okay too! After all, everyone has to start somewhere. Even if one just “tolerates” it from time to time, at least they’re getting fit in the process.

Most of our results were based on female responses. I think our male surveyors were shy.

Most responses were based on readers  “25-34” years of age. 18-34 was second range level.
