Exercise bikes have been around since the 1960’s, just before the American fitness craze took place, and by the 1980’s stationary bikes were everywhere! They’ve come a long way since the groovy 60’s! Peloton has completely changed the game for indoor bicycles.
The Peloton is the high end, technologically savvy, and competition friendly indoor bicycle. This is the mecca of stationary bikes of the 21st century! It has a lot of cool features, is user friendly, and it’s sure to motivate you to stay on track with your fitness goals.
Before we get into the cool features, let’s talk about the cost and what that will look like for your pockets. It’s certainly not a cheap investment, the Peloton will cost you $2089.24 out the door. This is what it cost me for the basic Peloton with taxes included but it excludes the monthly $39, which is charged once you get the bike set up. There is another Peloton+ bike that will run you right around $2500 out the door if you’re interested in a higher end bike. The plus is it allows you to rotate the screen 360 degrees for floor workouts, slightly bigger screen, Apple gym kit integration, better sound system, and quieter riding.
