I had the pleasure of visiting this premier establishment. Within minutes of arriving, it was evident why the Houstonian is one of the most recognized accommodations in the world. The plush and lavish surroundings are complemented by warm and welcoming staff, offering a personalized experience for each of their guest.
The Houstonian’s 289 guest rooms are comfortable and provide elegant amenities with plush robes, 24- hour room service and exquisite views. All guest rooms include a 42-inch LCD high-definition television. The Concierge Level provides added bonuses, equipped with additional services and private key-access. Guest are provided daily Continental breakfast, early evening hor d’ oeuvres and cocktails, after-dinner desserts and Concierge and business services.

It’s nationally renowned and has been recognized as a top hotel health club as well as one of the nation’s Top 100 Clubs through many national publications and media outlets. “OK, we’ll ‘fess up. Sometimes we do a little bit of scouting at the gym. But this place takes it to a different level, considering it is the spot of choice for college football stars to train for the NFL Combine every year. Not only does this resort have a rock-climbing wall, but it has everything you need to train like a true athlete including indoor and outdoor running tracks, tennis and racquetball courts, a pool, and more than two dozen personal trainers. ” -SELF Magazine

Their spa services are second to none. The Trellis Spa is one of Texas’ select Four-Star spas, offering 17,000 square feet of relaxation and pampering. With more than 100 services including: facials, body treatments, tanning, massages, nail services, hair services, professional makeup and more. Additionally, they offer custom services for bridal showers, men, couples, mothers-to-be, teens and special occasions. The spa provides luxurious locker rooms with Jacuzzi tubs and steam room; relaxation rooms and comfortable lounge with a fireplace which doubles as a “napping” retreat. My spa service favorite is their Natura Bisse’ Signature Facial. It’s pure bliss, specially created to meet client’s dermatological needs.
The Houstonian offers a host of dining options, including Olivette which is the hotel’s premier restaurant, blending Mediterranean charm with regional American dishes. Their dishes are simply divine and the desserts are delectable!
